Ένα μοντέλο μεγάλου μεγέθους κατηγορεί το ‘Ινσταγκραμ για το κλείσιμο του λογαριασμού της, ο οποίος είχε 150.000 ακόλουθους, σε μια προσπάθεια, όπως λέει, να λογοκρίνει το σώμα της.

Το μοντέλο από την Ισπανία Ναταλία Λοθάνο λέει ότι η δημοφιλής πλατφόρμα απενεργοποίησε το λογαριασμό της μετά από παράπονα χρηστών σχετικά με την ποσότητα γυμνού που παρουσίαζε.
Η ίδια πιστεύει ότι οι χρήστες της έκαναν αναφορές λόγω ζήλιας: “Δεν μπορούν να δεχθούν ότι είμαι σέξι και έχω αυτοπεποίθηση. Με αποκαλούν χοντρή και χυδαία και με κατηγορούν για υποκρισία επειδή ‘πειράζω’ τις φωτογραφίες μου.”
Υποστηρίζει μάλιστα ότι το πρόβλημα είναι ιδιαίτερα μεγάλο στην Ισπανία και προσθέτει: “Από τη στιγμή που προβάλλεσαι ως σέξι γυναίκα μεγάλου μεγέθους, σε κρίνουν και σε λογοκρίνουν. Ωστόσο, στις ΗΠΑ, για παράδειγμα, τα μοντέλα μεγάλου μεγέθους έχουν πολλούς οπαδούς και είναι περισσότερο αποδεκτά από ό, τι στη δική μου χώρα.”
Με όλη τη φασαρία που έγινε όμως, η Λοθάνο ακούστηκε τόσο που γρήγορα το Instagram νεκρανέστησε το λογαριασμό της και αυτή όχι μόνο ξανακέρδισε τους 150.000 ακόλουθούς της, αλλά απέκτησε κι ακόμα περισσότερους (τώρα έχει ήδη 161.000). Είναι πιθανόν πως κάποιοι haters μπορεί να της ξανακάνουν αναφορές και να της ξαναρίξουν το προφίλ, αλλά και η ίδια υπόσχεται ότι θα συνεχίσει να αγωνίζεται.
Δεν πρόκειται για την πρώτη φορά που το Ίνσταγκραμ δέχεται πυρά για απενεργοποίηση λογαριασμών γυναικών με τη δικαιολογία ότι είναι ‘ακατάλληλοι’.
Πρόσφατα, ο λογαριασμός της Ινδής τραγουδίστριας Ανούσκα Μανσάντα φαίνεται να απενεργοποιήθηκε μετά από μια φωτογραφία που έδειχνε τις θηλές της.
Ούτε η Ανούσκα άφησε αυτήν την κίνηση ασχολίαστη…

Today I can drive a car, vote, run for government, get an education, file for divorce, step out of my home to work..amongst many other things if I choose. The fight is not over. My sisters in many parts of the world still suffer without basic human rights. Any woman who says she is not a feminist must re-think. A conversation that started with a friend..over a photo that was reported on @instagram and taken down because the woman’s nipples were visible in it..got me thinking. This little photo story is a result of that. It ridiculous, that the same people who get offended by the sight of a woman’s nipples have absolutely no problem with men showing theirs? nipples = nipples nipples = nipples There are bigger, more horrific issues that women deal with on a daily basis, by the second. But here, on a platform that urban earthlings use daily..let’s start small. This is not just about a nipple. This is about EQUALITY. #freethenipple
