Σωστά. Τελικά απέρριψε το ρόλο και τον πήρε η Kirsten Dunst.
Μιλώντας για οντισιόν, μια ωραία ιστορία:
Όταν ο Anthony Hopkins έδινε οντισιόν για το Royal Theatre, διευθυντής ήταν ο Laurence Olivier. Τον ρώτησε τι θα παρουσιάσει, κι απάντησε Ριχάρδο Γ’. Του αντιλέγει, “όπως ξέρετε, το ρόλο αυτό τον έχω παίξει με μεγάλη επιτυχία” κι ο Χόπκινς του ανταπαντά “Εγώ θα τον κάνω καλύτερα”. Παίζει το ρόλο στην οντισιόν, και όταν τελειώνει, ο Olivier του λέει “Συγχαρητήρια, ήσασταν όντως καλύτερος”.
